At North Star Naturopathic Medicine, medicine is not rushed. It is not transactional. It is built on time, attention, and the kind of clinical presence that allows complexity to be understood rather than abbreviated.

Each visit is structured to give space for what your health actually requires—whether that is a brief recalibration or an extended, integrative consultation.

Appointments are scheduled in 15-minute increments and unfold according to clinical need.

  • At our practice, visits are billed based on time spent with the clinician. This allows for thoughtful, individualized care that reflects the complexity and depth of each visit.

  • During intake, we will ask for:

    • Household size

    • Approximate household income range

This helps us assign the appropriate pricing tier. You do not need to provide any proof of income. You determine your category based on income and household size and let us know where you fit. We have a worksheet that will guide you during your intake process.

  • Payment is collected at the time of service. We do not accept or bill any insurance.

We accept HSA and FSA funds, along with standard credit and debit payments.

Many patients with out-of-network benefits are able to receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan. In most cases, insurance will also cover most standard laboratory testing, imaging, prescriptions, and referrals ordered.

  • Upon request, a detailed superbill can be provided at the end of each visit. This may be submitted to insurance for potential reimbursement, application toward deductibles, or out-of-pocket maximums depending on individual coverage.

This model exists to protect something increasingly rare in modern medicine: time.

Time to think clearly. Time to listen carefully. Time to treat the person, not just the problem.

We believe high-quality, personalized medical care should be both accessible and sustainable. This structure allows us to dedicate the time and attention each patient deserves while offering reduced-rate visits for those who qualify.
